The role of this website

This website presents Dr Camille Beniada’s consultations. It has no patient accounts, symptom forms, document uploads or chatbot. Fonts and images are served with the website.

Google Analytics is disabled. The website does not send browsing statistics to an analytics service. The technical data needed for hosting are described below.

Hosting and technical data

The website is hosted by Google through Firebase Hosting. When you visit, the hosting provider receives the requests needed to display the pages, including your IP address and the address of the requested page. This processing is used to provide and protect the service. It is separate from Google Analytics, which remains disabled.

Google states that Firebase Hosting uses IP addresses to detect abuse and analyse the technical use of its service, and retains these data for a few months. Its documentation does not specify a more precise retention period. The website does not add an application browsing log. See Google’s information about data processed by Firebase.

Firebase Hosting uses a global content delivery network. Processing may take place outside Switzerland, in Google’s infrastructure and that of its service providers; hosting exclusively within Switzerland is not guaranteed. Google’s published terms describe the processing arrangements and the mechanisms for international transfers: Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms and the list of subprocessors.

Language preference

French is the default language. Your browser’s preferred language may be used to suggest the English version automatically. When you choose a language using the language selector, that choice is saved on this device in your browser’s local storage under the key cb:language. It is used only to remember your language preference and is not sent to an analytics service.

You can change your language at any time using the selector or remove the saved preference by clearing this website’s data in your browser.

Privacy preferences

If you make a choice in the preferences panel, it is saved in your browser’s local storage and remains valid for up to 180 days. It contains your decision, the date, its expiry, the relevant mode and a technical version. It stays on this device to remember your preference; it does not identify a patient record.

The choice is ignored once it expires. You can change it at any time or clear the website’s data in your browser. Declining does not change the content or appointment options. Analytics preferences do not stop the technical exchanges needed to display the website.

Analytics: inactive integration

Limited measurement of overall visits and clicks to appointment services has been prepared using Google Analytics for Firebase. It remains disabled and locked in this version, even if you choose “Accept” in the preferences.

Any activation would require a technical audit, an update to this policy and your renewed prior agreement. The planned measurement excludes the medical pages viewed, medical page titles, reasons for appointments, contact details, free text, and raw URLs and referrers. A click does not mean that an appointment has been booked.

Retention periods, recipients and transfer arrangements for this measurement will be stated before activation. No profiling, advertising use or session recording is planned.

External links

OneDoc, Hôpital de La Tour, directions services and scientific publishers open only if you select their links. They then process information according to their own policies. This website does not embed an external booking calendar or an interactive map. The “no-referrer” header asks the browser not to send the referring page.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may in particular request information about your personal data, its correction or its deletion under the conditions provided by law. Send your request to Dr Beniada through the professional contacts listed above. For local storage, you can also clear this website’s data directly in your browser.

Requests about a booking should be addressed to the service or institution handling it. The Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner provides information about your rights in Switzerland.
